I’m Lewelin Polanco, and welcome to my creative galaxy! I’m a queer, Dominican woman raised and residing in NYC, humbly writing my comics and hoping that they bring joy (or turmoil if it’s horror, heh) to someone’s day.

Writing comics that feature BIPOC protagonists doing dope shit fills me with joy. Sprinkle some queerness – by the handfuls actually – and it’s *chef’s kiss*. All my stories include a mix of Spanish dialogue to represent the “Spanglish” that people from the diaspora speak everyday.

One of the most important things I’ve learned on my comics journey is that there’s a place for everyone here. So write the thing you’ve been putting off, put it out into the world, and your community will find you.
